Let Past and Present Sell Your Gently Used Designer Items
At Past and Present, we specialize in consigning current upscale designer jewelry, shoes, handbags, and accessories. That means we're always on the lookout for high-quality, genuine top-name designer pieces. We never accept or sell imitation of any kind.
All merchandise must be clean, fresh, and in perfect condition.
The consignment business thrives on revolving inventory. Our mutual success depends on our ability to attract new clients while maintaining long-term relationships with existing shoppers. It is with that in mind that Past and Present reserves the right to determine pricing on every item for sale. Markdowns of 25 to 50 percent generally occur every 30 days with each item expiring after 60 days.
All items must be picked up within the 5 days following their expiration date. Unsold items left beyond the 65-day period will be deemed to be the property of Past and Present and donated to
The Women's Rights Closet in Englewood, New Jersey.
Without exception, it is your responsibility to keep track of your consignment calendar. We will not call or remind you of your item's expiration date.
All consignment income is divided in half with the seller receiving 50 percent of the retail price of each item. Checks will be written bi-monthly or by request on the 15th of the month. Checks may be picked up in the store or mailed via USPS. Please note all mailed checks will incur a $1 administrative fee.
Past and Present is not responsible for damage to items incurred in transit nor for theft from our storefront location.

Please take the time to inspect all photographs and descriptions given prior to ordering. This will help avoid any confusion. Be sure to note its dimensions and size, as well as its overall condition. Remember designer sizes can be inconsistent so please be sure of your size in each designer's line.
All our items are available to both online and in our storefront on a first come basis. If an item is purchased simultaneously online and in the store, the online item will be deemed no longer available for purchase, and your account will be credited.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards through PayPal. You don't need a Paypal account to purchase merchandise on our site, and Paypal is a secure payment option. Please call the store if you need to make other arrangements.
Privacy
We do not release or sell client information, including email addresses, and other personal details gathered on our website. All transactions are processed through PayPal, thus, PayPal does not provide us access to any credit card information.

We provide free ground shipping throughout the United States.
You may choose to upgrade for faster delivery, at your own expense.

International shipping is a flat rate of $60 and is shipped via USPS Express mail service. We cannot guarantee a specific arrival time as each package must pass through customs.
